'Lil Smoker Dudes are all natural wood pellets, created without the use of additives or glues of any kind. The raw material utilized to manufacture 'Lil Smoker Dudes came from an alternate manufacturing facility. Using 'Lil Smoker Dudes assures that our number one renewable natural resource -- trees -- are used completely, with no waste ending up in a landfill. This is an ecologically sound product.

Warning: The burning of wood pellets results in the emissions of carbon monoxide. It is not recommended that 'Lil Smoker Dudes be used inside any structure. Not only is it not good to breathe carbon monoxide, the smoke will make your house smell funny for a long time. Use these outside!

With just a few precautions and adjustments, 'Lil Smoker Dudes can be used with any grill: electric, gas or charcoal.

1. Fire up that 'ol grill! Get it hot (this is a good time to scrape all the crud off it from the last time you used your grill and didn't clean it right - you know who you are!) and make sure that grill gets hot enough so those 'Lil Smoker Dudes actually smoke when you put them in!
2. If your grill came with a smoker box, a couple handfuls of 'Lil Smoker Dudes will do the trick!
3. If you are sans smoker box, you can easily make your own. Just get a sheet of heavy aluminum foil, put the 'Lil Smoker Dudes into the middle of the foil and create a bag out of the foil by closing the top over the 'Lil Smoker Dudes. Twist the bag shut, but leave an air hole so that terrific smoke can escape. Flatten the finished (and rather artistic looking -- nice job!!) creation a bit and put it close to the grill flames. The 'Lil Smoker Dudes will soon start smoking.
4. While you don't need to add liquid to the 'Lil Smoker Dudes, we find that a sprinkling of wine adds a nice flavor twist -- it also makes the 'Lil Smoker Dudes very happy.
5. If you would like to generate even more smoke, it is perfectly acceptable to pour some 'Lil Smoker Dudes right into the fire. Keep in mind they will burn. But they also will create some more of that delicious smoke flavor.
6. No, we do not recommend direct application of 'Lil Smoker Dudes when you use an electric grill.
